The most common bridal mistake is booking a facial the week of the wedding. Here is the month-by-month plan our team builds for brides instead.

Beautiful bridal skin is scheduling, not luck. Every treatment that meaningfully improves texture and tone needs weeks to settle, which means the calendar is as important as the protocol.

Six months out

Full skin assessment and diagnosis. This is the window for anything that carries downtime or requires a course: acne management, pigmentation correction, laser resurfacing, and starting a retinoid.

Three months out

Course treatments continue. If injectables are part of the plan, first treatment happens now so results can be reviewed and refined with time to spare.

One month out

No new actives, no new products, no experiments. Hydration facials, gentle lymphatic work and a final injectable review only if already established.

The final fortnight

  • No peels, no lasers, no threading of new areas
  • No first-time products, including gifted skincare
  • Sleep, hydration and consistent SPF
  • One gentle hydrating facial, at least seven days before

The bride who books her first ever peel five days before the wedding is the one we spend the week calming down.

Frequently asked

When should I book my first bridal consultation?

Six months before the wedding for a full programme; three months if your skin is already stable and you need refinement only.

Can I have injectables before my wedding?

Yes, with the final treatment no later than four weeks before, allowing time for review and adjustment.

What if I break out the week before?

Contact us rather than self-treating. We can settle an acute lesion safely with an in-clinic intervention.

Is this article a substitute for a consultation?

No. This article is educational. Treatment decisions at New Me are made after an in-person skin assessment, medical history review and, where relevant, imaging or patch testing.
